Congratulations to Xiaofeng (again)!

Xiaofeng is the recipient of the "Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad" of 2012. The Award ceremony took place at the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco on Friday April 5th. See the pictures here.

At the MRS Spring Meeting in San Francisco, Wei won a gold a medal and Xiaofeng a silver medal at the "Grad Student Award Competition".

Sara won a Marie Curie fellowship for her post-doctoral studies at LBL.

Sophie won a national award for fundamental research from C'Nano in France, for her Ph.D. thesis.

Her thesis, titled "A New Versatile Route to Metal Phosphide Nanoparticles using White Phosphorus; Applications in Catalysis and for Lithium Batteries," was advised by Prof. Clément Sanchez of Collège de France and Dr. Nicolas Mézailles of Ecole Polytechnique.
